1. Publisher and scope

These Terms apply to Netherglass, Android package com.zaezynthi.dreadglass, and its official playtest editions, distributed by Zae’zynthi Studios LLC, doing business as Zae’zynthi Studios, in Fremont, Nebraska, United States of America (“the studio,” “we,” or “us”).

These Terms describe your game license and our responsibilities. They operate alongside the applicable store terms and our Refund Policy. The Privacy Policy explains information handling; accepting game terms is not a substitute for any separate privacy consent required by law. Mandatory rights in your location take priority over conflicting wording here.

2. Eligibility and game license

Netherglass is intended for players 13 and older, subject to the store’s age rating and local rules. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must authorize your use and any purchase to the extent required by law and the store. Do not make purchases without the payment account holder’s authorization.

For content you are entitled to access, we grant a limited license to install and play the game for personal entertainment on compatible devices, in accordance with the store’s account and device rules. A purchase grants the described access license, not ownership of the game’s intellectual property. Transfer or resale is allowed only where applicable law or the relevant store license permits it.

3. Current editions and future full-game access

The currently audited offline builds contain no advertising, billing, consent or analytics SDK. Purchases are not active. The playtest offers five Campaign regions through Encounter 25, without ads, rewarded-ad offers or checkout. Playtest availability, supported devices and included features will be stated with the distributed build; test access does not itself establish a paid entitlement to a future commercial release.

A future commercial edition is planned as free-to-try with an optional one-time full-game unlock, with an intended US price of $4.99. The store will show the actual localized price, taxes and included content before purchase. The commercial free-content boundary will be stated for that release. Full-game ownership is intended to remove advertising and ad offers; ordinary gameplay unlock conditions still apply.

The unlock covers the content described in its purchase listing. It is not a subscription. No paid consumable currency is currently planned. We do not promise unannounced expansions or a particular future release schedule. A later edition’s access model does not automatically replace rights already granted for an earlier edition.

4. Purchases, restoration and refunds

When enabled, Android in-app purchases will use Google Play Billing and Google’s checkout. Google’s payment and refund terms also apply. Do not pay through unofficial messages or send payment-card details to the studio. A pending or unsuccessful transaction is not a completed purchase.

Restoring a qualifying non-consumable Full Game purchase is intended to restore access using the same eligible Google Play account. Restoration, verification or buying can require a connection. A restored purchase does not restore a deleted local save. Verified full-game access is intended to support offline combat. Reset Journey or uninstalling does not itself cancel a purchase or request a refund.

All in-app purchases, including the Full Game unlock, are non-refundable after 48 hours from completion of the purchase, except where applicable law requires a refund or Google Play’s applicable terms or refund decisions provide otherwise. Within 48 hours you may request a review; approval is not automatic. This is the studio’s standard voluntary refund policy, not a limitation on mandatory consumer remedies or Google’s independent decisions.

Read the full Refund Policy for the request procedure, exceptions and effects of a refund. That policy and any more favorable terms disclosed at checkout apply to the relevant purchase. We will not retroactively reduce refund rights already granted at purchase.

5. Optional advertising in a future free edition

No ads operate in the current audited builds or playtest. If introduced, rewarded ads are intended to be optional offers outside active combat, such as an eligible Campaign retry or a bonus after final run rewards. The offer must explain its reward before you choose. Declining or an unavailable ad must not remove ordinary earned rewards.

Known full-game owners are intended to receive no ad requests or ad-consent prompts, with equivalent eligible benefits available without ads. Age eligibility, provider availability and required privacy choices may limit offers. We will disclose active SDKs and data handling before activation and obtain any legally required consent separately. Agreeing to these Terms does not authorize personalized advertising or undisclosed tracking.

6. Local progress, compatibility and updates

Progress and settings are stored locally; there is no studio account or cloud-save service. Compatible updates over the same installed app are designed to preserve progress, but a test build or migration can contain defects. Uninstalling, clearing app storage or confirming Reset Journey can erase saves. We cannot recover a local save we do not hold. These limitations do not remove applicable legal remedies.

Balance, art, progression and compatibility may change as the game develops. Test rewards or mechanics are not guarantees that every numerical value will remain unchanged. We will describe material access changes and will not use a balance update to silently revoke a purchased license. We cannot guarantee every Android device or operating-system version will be supported indefinitely; check the applicable listing’s compatibility information.

7. Fair use and player creations

Do not distribute unauthorized copies, sell access without permission, submit fraudulent purchase/refund claims, interfere with others’ devices or services, or use the game to infringe another person’s rights. Do not bypass purchase protections or extract and redistribute standalone game artwork, music or code without permission, except to the extent permitted by applicable law or an included third-party license. Lawful accessibility work, legally protected reverse engineering and good-faith security reporting remain subject to applicable law.

You may share screenshots and gameplay recordings, reviews and livestreams, including ordinary monetization of those videos, provided you respect third-party rights and do not imply studio endorsement. This permission does not grant a separate right to sell our assets or upload the soundtrack as a standalone music product. Credits and third-party license notices remain applicable.

Support feedback remains yours. Sending feedback permits us to use its suggestions to improve the game without an obligation to pay for the suggestion; it does not transfer ownership of your unrelated work or permit publication of private support messages.

8. Privacy, platforms and support

The Privacy Policy distinguishes local game data, voluntary support email, platform diagnostics, website hosting and prospective services. No studio account or marketing signup is required for current offline play. Google Play, GitHub and email providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Support is available at support.zaezynthi.studios@gmail.com. Provide only information relevant to the issue. Never send account passwords, purchase tokens, signing credentials or full card details. We do not promise continuous live support or a particular response time.

9. Quality, availability and responsibility

Playtest software is experimental and may contain errors or incomplete features. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a specific result from a build, or compatibility beyond the stated requirements. For purchased digital content, applicable conformity, quality, repair, replacement, price-reduction and refund rights remain in force.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for business losses or indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, including mandatory consumer guarantees, fraud, or other non-excludable responsibility. These Terms do not require you to waive a statutory claim.

10. Changes and ending use

You may stop using the game at any time. Where permitted by law, a material breach may end the affected license after appropriate notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach when required. This does not remove refund or consumer rights, and the studio does not acquire ownership of your unrelated information or creations.

We will publish revised Terms with an effective date and give appropriate notice of material changes before they apply. Changes will not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. Where a change requires affirmative agreement, we will seek it rather than treating an update as automatic consent. New data processing must follow the Privacy Policy and applicable consent requirements.

11. Law and resolving concerns

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nebraska, United States, except that any mandatory protections of the place where you normally live continue to apply. Contact support first if you would like us to help resolve an issue. This request does not prevent you from contacting Google Play, a consumer authority, or a court that has jurisdiction, and does not shorten a legal deadline. No mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these Terms.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent lawful. Any required interpretation must preserve mandatory player rights. Applicable third-party open-source licenses control their covered components.
